Terms of Service
These Terms of Service describe how Idaho Disaster works with property owners and managers across Meridian, Boise, Nampa, Caldwell, Eagle, Kuna, Star, Garden City, and Middleton. By requesting an estimate or scheduling service, you agree to the terms outlined below.
Service Area
Idaho Disaster provides water, fire, storm, and mold restoration services, along with reconstruction and related contracting work, within Meridian, Boise, Nampa, Caldwell, Eagle, Kuna, Star, Garden City, and Middleton. If your property falls outside this area, we may not be able to respond and will let you know at the time of your request.
Estimates Are Not Binding Contracts
A verbal or written estimate reflects our assessment of visible damage at the time of inspection. It is not a binding agreement for services. Many losses, especially water and fire damage, reveal additional affected materials once demolition or drying begins. Actual scope and cost are finalized once a work authorization form is signed, and any changes to scope will be documented and communicated before work proceeds.
Payment Terms
Payment is due according to the terms stated on your signed work authorization or invoice. We accept standard payment methods discussed at the time of scheduling. If your loss is covered by insurance, payment arrangements, including deductible collection and direct billing where applicable, will be outlined in writing before work begins.
Licensing and Liability
Idaho Disaster operates as a licensed contractor within the state of Idaho and performs work in accordance with applicable state regulations and industry drying standards. Our liability is limited to the scope of work defined in the signed authorization. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, code upgrades required by local jurisdictions, or damage resulting from delayed authorization to begin mitigation.
Insurance Coordination
Where a property owner authorizes it, we coordinate directly with insurance adjusters to document the loss, provide photographs, and submit scope documentation. This coordination is a courtesy intended to streamline your claim. It does not make us a party to your insurance policy, and final claim decisions rest with your carrier.
Scope of Work Clarifications
Work performed is limited to what is specified in your signed authorization or subsequent written change order. Verbal requests made on-site to technicians should be confirmed in writing to avoid confusion about what is and is not included in your project.
Governing Relationship
These general terms provide an overview of how we operate. The specific service relationship between Idaho Disaster and any property owner is governed by the signed work authorization form for that project, which takes precedence over anything stated here in the event of a conflict.
SMS / Text Messaging Terms
Idaho Disaster runs a customer care text program for customers who contact us about our services. By giving us your mobile number and agreeing to receive texts (for example, by checking the text consent box on our contact or estimate form, or by telling us on a call that we may text you), you agree to these terms.

- What we send: messages about your service request or project, such as appointment scheduling and reminders, technician arrival times, job updates, follow-ups after the job, and a request to review our work. We do not send marketing texts to anyone who has not separately opted in to them.
- Message frequency: message frequency varies based on your request and project.
- Cost: Msg & data rates may apply, according to your mobile carrier’s plan.
- Opting out: reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You will receive one final message confirming you have been unsubscribed, and no further texts will be sent unless you opt in again.

- Not a condition of purchase: consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from us.
- Carriers: mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Privacy: we never share or sell your mobile number or your text messaging opt-in data and consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy for details.
